The lifting cap is being placed on B1058 booster at Port Canaveral this morning.
@SpaceXFleet Very excited to see them getting ready to lift up the first stage!
On a dark & dreary morning with OCISLY's lights on & a light rain falling the cap has been placed on the DM-2 booster. At this point not much work is going on to detach Octograbber but they are working toward getting the booster prepared for layover. #NASA #SpaceX #Space
The cap is on the booster, but not attached to the crane and cables are running from the cap to the legs. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX
The left leg is being raised. The booster is still on Octagrabber and the crane is not attached to the cap, this is a first. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX
They have finished raising the left leg, so far it hasn't fallen over. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX
The front leg is retracted, two legs down. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX
The right leg is being raised, it is now only standing on one leg and Octagrabber. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX
And there it is, a falcon 9 booster supported only by Octagrabber, all legs up and the crane detached. B1058.1 is pulling off more firsts than just launching crew. #LaunchAmerica #Demo2 #DM2 #SpaceX #SpaceXFleet
It's now raining a little more than earlier and it is pretty hazy. It appears they have stopped working. I missed it earlier, but at some point they put covers on the engines. #SpaceXFleet #SpaceX #OCISLY
The Falcon 9 booster is getting tucked into bed right now. #SpaceX #Falcon9 #Demo2
