I kind of liked the way they did that -  just a calm stop of the terminal count, and not quite as heart-stopping as hearing "Abort! Abort! Abort!".

They likely went through the same thing (full count without an actual launch) the other day with the engine test, so I'd just think of this (if they aren't able to recycle for another full count/launch today) as just another training exercise.

It was so calm that I wasn't even sure it was actually abort for about 20 seconds. :D

SpaceX currently employs a little over 250 people.

I would love to have stocks of SpaceX .... to posses a piece of it.

Elon has said in an interview they may float some stock once they get a few successful launches or words to that effect.

I wonder how long they can take that rate of boil-off before they have to re-load?

That's what I was thinking as well. Are they still topping the tanks?

They went back into topping following the abort I believe.

I wish the anomaly net audio was being broadcast, that'd be so interesting to hear.

The umbilicals are all still in place so I presume they could recycle and top everything off if they needed to do so.

All things considered, the countdown sequence has gone more smoothly this time around and the fault apparently is external to the rocket and launch systems.  I think that's progress for a very new system.

The team definitely sounds disappointed, of course. I feel for them. Good work though the way they handled the abort.

Regardless, I'd like to thank Elon and Co./team for having/investing in the live webcast. It's much appreciated!
