Ok, as we get to T-5 mins, let's reduce the chatter and only post important updates. No need to duplicate, so only the usual people please. Back up properly to all after launch.

"Falcon 9 makes use of an upgraded engine called the Merlin 1C.  That engine is on the test stand, still in development mode.  It is a regen cooled engine [...] we will go back and put that engine on the Falcon 1...it is just a much more efficient engine and we are happy with the [regen vs ablative].  The 1C engine is on the development stand, we have been firing it for a couple of weeks."
"The first stage tank is nearly complete." [...] "That tank will serve as a "run tank" for our propulsion testing in Texas."  [largest friction stir tank they are aware of in the world].

"The fairing is past development, I beleive we are getting the first sectiosn of the flight-designed fairing in the next couple weeks" [...]

Stargazin2nite - 19/3/2007 11:35 PM GW -- thanks for the insight! I figured it might have been something like that! :)

It's useful to know. Given the choice I usually use RP, so if I lose the signal in the last few seconds, I can load WM, and I won't miss the launch.
