Stargazin2nite - 19/3/2007 11:28 PM The clock on the webcast appears to be ~ 1min slower than official UTC....is this a purposeful delay?
In my experience, there is always a slight delay on webcasts. Realplayer is about 10 seconds behind real life, Media Player is further behind again. Therefore, we are probably seeing what happened ~1 min ago. When the clock reads T-1min, it will have already launched (or been scrubbed, or have exploded on the pad, but hopefully the first of the three options.).
blairf - 19/3/2007 4:33 PMA planet of 6,000,000,000 and only 5,000 tune in for this! We are the priviledged few
landofgrey - 19/3/2007 5:31 PM That poor girl trying to keep up with the countdown. Reminds me of the "Talker" they use for Delta. Gonna shut up now for the launch. Go Falcon!
I think she's the actual Launch Conductor, not just a "talker" for PA.
