Could be some crazy commercial idea of holding to T-29 seconds.  :bleh:

I take it they will have to restart the countdown clock to some T-minus time before continuing with the launch?

Probably not.  About 36 minutes to liftoff.

Q: [about fix to the GPS system]
A: I believe we decided that because the GPS is not actually critical to the flight, it is kind of a secondary instrument to us, that we [decided to proceed without any fix.  She isn't sure of that, but will check]

Someone's tinkering with something on that clock.

Probably not.  About 36 minutes to liftoff.

Probably come clever video overlay widget that during all of the changes to the launch automation didn't get reconnected to the appropriate data source.  That, or someone who knows how to turn on the video overlay software isn't around when you need them.

Not that I've ever encountered anything like that in the past, or anything. :-)

I'm guessing the clock is a little inside joke and/or making a point:  I'll bet the story is that the first failed mission left off at T+29 sec and this one will pick it up at that point.  So, how about odds on it starting to increment at T+30 secs for this attempt?

Well I must say that I am singularly unimpressed.
Either it's SpaceX's inability to provide enough bandwidth for more than just a handful of viewers...guess they don't really care.
Or
The fact that the Internet is just not mature enough yet to handle something like this.
Even the fact that SpaceX names their Website...

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation - Webacst.

Just not very impressed.

What?  My webcast's fine.  And as for the no sound, they're engineers trying to get a rocket flying not PA experts.  Who cares?

I'll make a great roaring noise when it lifts off to simulate the engine noise in real-time...
