Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (TV Series)

CBS today officially announced the new series "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds".
This show will be set aboard the USS Enterprise under the command of Christopher Pike roughly ten years before the adventures of Captain Kirk seen in "Star Trek: The Original Series".

The show will star Anson Mount as Pike, Rebecca Romijn as First Officer "Number One", and Ethan Peck as Spock. All are returning after being introduced in "Star Trek: Discovery" in 2019.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be streamed on the CBS All Access service in the United States. International distribution deals have not been announced. Star Trek: Discovery is carried on Netflix outside the U.S. Star Trek: Picard is on Amazon outside the U.S.

The current line-up of Star Trek series includes:
Star Trek: Discovery (Season 3 now in post-production)
Star Trek: Picard (approved for Season 2)
Star Trek: Lower Decks (an animated comedy set in the late Next Generation era.)
Star Trek: Section 31 (production start was imminent before COVID-19 hit)
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Unnamed Star Trek youth series to air on Nickelodeon.
