This is the launch thread for the OneWeb Flight 4 launch, the first OneWeb launch from Vostochniy LC 1S, of 36 satellites for the OneWeb constellation.

A great thread about the news of and discussion about the OneWeb constellation is here: OneWeb constellation

And for the previous OneWeb launches:
Soyuz-STB/Fregat-M (VS21) - OneWeb (x6) - (21:37 UTC) February 27, 2019 [from Kourou]

Soyuz-2-1b/Fregat - OneWeb Fl. 2 (x34) - Baikonur - Feb 6, 2020, 21:42 UTC

Soyuz-2-1b/Fregat - OneWeb Fl. 3 (x34) - Baikonur - March 21, 2020, 17:06 UTC

Re: 1st OneWeb launch from Vostochniy:
Is this a delay?!
No. The announced launch month or date shifts in the last several months: April to April 18 to May, and now to late April. See up-thread.

Updates and discussion of the possibility [and the eventuality] of OneWeb filing for bankruptcy in the UK starts here.

Stay tuned for any news of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the delivery of the satellites from Florida to Vostochniy, and the launch campaign.

From the OneWeb constellation thread:
Quote from: Jonathan Amos Tweet
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York has heard the @OneWeb case today [July 10] and "Project Lighthouse" (the plan by UK HMG and Bharti to pull the company out of Chapter 11) is approved.

Note that while this OneWeb launch was next pre-bankruptcy, we don't know whether or not it will happen.  If this launch proceeds, we don't know when.

FYI:
OneWeb plans to resume its launches from Russia:
http://russianspaceweb.com/oneweb.html#2020_0726

Several hurdles to clear before resumption of flights including a required Russian vaccination of foreign personnel because the vaccine is not yet easily available in the USA and EU. New launch dates will be announced at a later date partly as launches are to be shifted to Vostochny Cosmodrome.

In May 2020, Dmitry Baranov, Director General at RKTs Progress, the manufacturer of the Soyuz rocket family, said that at the time, three Soyuz-2 vehicles configured for OneWeb missions were stored in Vostochny and one such booster was in Baikonur.
The Vostochniy OneWeb launches scheduled for October, November, and December would therefore already be on-site.

Here is my 10 cents on resuming of OneWeb launches.

First nickel
The Siberian "tick-born encephalitis" mentioned by Anatoli Zak is NOT the same as "Lyme disease".
The first one caused by virus, the second disease is bacterial.

Second nickel
I spent several field seasons in Eastern Siberia, here is what I know from personal experience:
Anti-encephalitis vaccination is required from April to August (September? - not sure).
Outside of this period this kind of ticks is not active.
Yes, my field trips to Vilyuy and Magadan regions were LONG time ago, by I don't think ticks habits changed significantly.

Therefore, I would not expect any trouble with vaccination - for late fall and winter launches from Vostochny.

MOSCOW, August 21 - RIA Novosti. The only one launch this year from the Vostochny cosmodrome can be carried out in December, 36 British communication satellites OneWeb are supposed to be put into orbit, a source in the rocket and space industry told RIA Novosti.
Initially, in 2020, five launches were planned from Vostochny - four with OneWeb satellites in April, May, June and July and one with the Meteor-M meteorological spacecraft in November. However, the launches were postponed due to the bankruptcy of OneWeb and the need for additional testing of the "Meteor".
"The launch of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with the Fregat upper stage and 36 OneWeb satellites is preliminarily planned for December," the source said.

Cross-post; confirmation of December 2020 OneWeb return to launch at Vostochniy:
Arianespace announces the resumption of the OneWeb constellation’s deployment

September 21, 2020
Arianespace and OneWeb will resume launch operations to continue the deployment of the OneWeb constellation.

The next Soyuz launch is planned as soon as December 2020 from the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

Pursuant to an amended launch contract with OneWeb, the London-based communications company, Arianespace will perform 16 more Soyuz launches from three spaceports (Kourou, Baikonur and Vostochny) beginning in late 2020 and continuing through 2022. These launches will enable OneWeb to complete the deployment of its full global constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites by the end of 2022.

“I am delighted that we are back on track to support the deployment of the OneWeb constellation and the company’s mission to bridge the digital divide at a global scale,” said Stéphane Israël, CEO of Arianespace. “Our teams already are working hard to ensure a smooth and quick restart of the launch campaigns by year-end 2020.”

The next Soyuz flight is scheduled for December 2020 from Vostochny with 36 satellites on board.

Difficult to read. 8 or 9.

Looks like both? 123-09 for Fregat, 123-08 for the ПхО?

Curious thing is that the details of Fregats, taken from a tender for insurance for transportation, excludes the ПхО for Fregat №123-08?

I see it the same way. Fregat 123-09 and 08 for the "connection part"

The team just integrated the 36th satellite for our next launch, which means all the satellites are safe in their spacecraft containers, preparing for flight from @NASAKennedy to Vostochny. Loading in is a precise operation requiring extensive coordination & teamwork. Congrats!

They are off! 36 OneWeb satellites have taken-off from Florida to Vostochny, for our launch in December. Congrats to the whole team - OneWeb & our whole supply chain who worked incredibly hard to deliver us to this milestone. We are growing again.
