theresacross @PortCanaveral #B0149.4 is capped ... techs rinse all 4 struts ahead of leg retraction (or removal) prior to transport @SpaceX facilities. #SpaceX #B1049.4 #OCISLY #Falcon9 @elonmusk #Starlink2 🚀

SpaceX booster 1049.4 cap just went on for the lay down of the booster to return to #SpaceX hanger for refurbishment. In the middle of a rain storm the cap made its final attachment to the rocket, hopefully the legs can be retracted later to be able to complete the process. #NASA

As of about an hour ago #SpaceX B1049.4 had at least two legs up (possibly 3 hard to see back side clearly) and was well on the way to getting all four legs up and ready for transport. #NASA #Space

For completeness, here is data on the new launch so far, based on data provided on @TSKelso 's website celestrak.com  (Red: the Black Starlink, as I call it; TS calls it Darksat)

More pictures of the recovery here too. Two legs were removed, two were folded.

I made a combo plot of Starlink-1 and 2 satellites' altitude since their corresponding launch time. Almost perfect alignment of debris is an evidence that up to the injection the launches were exactly the same. Then the sequence of orbit raising changed. In both cases the sparse groups are the groups going straight to 550 km.

The darkened satellite has been intentionally made hard but not impossible to see on the plot :)

The second plot is on the UTC time scale.

V1.0 L2 sats at 360 km and raising (blue) including Darksat (cyan) except for one sat (Starlink 1124, red) which appears to have overcome initial problems and started raising a few days ago. Deployment rods (green) still in orbit.
