It's interesting to note that Aleksey Zubritskiy was born in 1992 in the undependent Ukraine, educated in Kharkov and served for the Ukrainian Air Force in Crimea until 2014. After the return of Crimea, he's got transfer to Russian Air Force and four years later was selected as cosmonaut.

This bio caught my eye for obvious reasons, to me at least.

Zubritsky Alexey Vitalyevich

Experience:

09.2013-03.2014 - the pilot of the aviation unit of military unit A4515, the city of Sevastopol, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;
In accordance with the Federal Constitutional Law of the Russian Federation of March 21, 2014 No. 6-FKZ and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 20, 2014 No. 164 "On recognition of military ranks as valid, documents on the formation of citizens of the Russian Federation who are military personnel of the military command and military units of the Republic Crimea and documents on his military service "is included in the lists of personal composition of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with the assignment of a personal number."

So he was "drafted" into the Russian military after the takeover?

More than half of Ukrainian army (these were mostly locals) stationed in Crimea joined Russian Army. So it's no surprise really.

Part of the Federation ship testers transferred from RSC Energia to S7 Space
Quote
Several people from the RSC Energia flight test department, including test-cosmonaut Mark Serov, left the corporation for the Russian private company S7 Space (operator of the Sea Launch and Air Launch projects). This was reported on Tuesday by TASS State Duma deputy, pilot-cosmonaut of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia Elena Serova.
At RSC Energia, they were engaged in ground tests of the prospective manned spacecraft Federation.
“My spouse has been working at S7 Space since today. Along with him, some of the employees of the flight test department of the RSC Energia joined the company,” Serova said.
In turn, a source in the rocket and space industry specified TASS that, together with Serov, five more people left S7 Space from the RSC Energia flight test team.

Cosmonaut training center in communication with the ISS

For candidates for cosmonauts recruitment in 2018 (Konstantin Borisov, Alexander Gorbunov, Alexander Grebenkin, Alexey Zubritsky, Sergey Mikayev, Kirill Peskov, Oleg Platonov and Evgeny Prokopyev), the most important test in their space career is over - recently they passed the State exam and are now waiting decisions of the commission on awarding them the title of "test cosmonaut".

It is very symbolic that the future conquerors of space received sincere congratulations on passing the exam from their senior squadmates not only on Earth - words of support and good words of advice were also said from the International Space Station. On Thursday evening, when the cosmonauts on the ISS ended their working day, and their colleagues at the Cosmonaut Training Center had classes and trainings, an online meeting of Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov with their squadmates took place.

Astronauts from near-earth orbit shared with their colleagues news and events that happened in their lives during six weeks of space flight, and from Earth at the Cosmonaut Training Center they were interested in the sensations and impressions of the station commander and flight engineer from zero gravity, from their first spacewalk. and of course, they said hello to the foreign partners working at the station.

7 from 8 cosmonauts passed an exam.

Ouch for the one who failed. Does he get to have another go?

Test cosmonaut qualification awarded to candidates who have passed the State exam

Today, December 2, 2020, at the Yu.A. Gagarin, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Qualification Commission (ICQC) took place. By the decision of the commission, the qualification of a test cosmonaut was awarded to Konstantin Borisov, Alexander Gorbunov, Alexander Grebenkin, Alexei Zubritsky, Sergei Mikayev, Kirill Peskov and Oleg Platonov. They completed a two-year general space training course and successfully passed the State exam.

Head of the Yu.A. Gagarin Pavel Vlasov addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech.

“Congratulations to the test cosmonauts and CTC staff who conducted the training. A very important stage has come to an end, but you cannot relax and lose motivation. Keep moving forward and see you at the next stages of preparation, ”said the head of the Center.

The adviser to the head of the CTC, Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko presented the heroes of the occasion with certificates confirming their new status. Representatives of enterprises and organizations of the rocket and space industry took part in the meeting of the ICRC and the solemn ceremony.

“You have a long way ahead, there is much to be done,” the head of the RSC Energia flight and space center, Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-cosmonaut Alexander Kaleri said to his novice colleagues . - A good basis has been created for the further development and improvement of the acquired skills. Keep learning and moving towards your goal. "
“The next stage of preparation will be very important for you. Competition will intensify, and only your knowledge, skills, abilities will determine who gets on the crew and flies into space. You have shown yourself well, do not slow down, ”stressed Oleg Kotov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Hero of the Russian Federation, pilot-cosmonaut.

Representatives of NPP Zvezda Gennady Glazov and the Khrunichev State Research and Production Center Mikhail Musailov joined the parting words. The test cosmonauts who received certificates today were selected to the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps following the results of the second open competition announced in 2018. According to them, the theoretical part of the general space training was no less significant than the practical one. A group of then cosmonaut candidates attended lectures and seminars where they studied the structure of a spacecraft, a station, and got acquainted with the methods of conducting scientific experiments. In two years they have mastered about 50 disciplines and passed about 60 tests and exams.

7 from 8 cosmonauts passed an exam.

It seems that Yevgenii Prokopyev is who failed to pass his examination.
The other seven have the cerficate in their hands, and Prokopyev doesn't appear on the pictures of the next posts.

Anna Kikina, on his OKP, also failed, and later was re-examinated, but I don't know if this is the same case.

Can someone put the certificate numbers of the new cosmonauts?
Thanks
