The TV Channel Vesti reports that Svyatoslav Morozov is going on a 6-month expedition on the Russian station Vostok in the Antarctic.

So, he's not fit to fly into space, but fit enough to go to the Antarctic??

On 23rd August 2013, Swanson had exam on Don-Soyuz simulator...

Isn't it unusual for a non-Russian astronaut to have such an exam ?

Notable that Anna Kikina is missing from this report of the graduation ceremony yesterday:-

http://www.federalspace.ru/20693/

I wonder what the story is here? On 51st Anniversary of the flight of the first woman cosmonaut, could it be that  the 'glass ceiling' still remains for women, in the Russian cosmonaut team.

Also missing is Ignat Ignatov. I guess they failed to pass the final exams. Maybe they get another chance to pass the exams in the near future??

Thanks for that link. If I got it correctly, it also stated that Sergei Zalyotin and Roman Romanenko were disqualified for medical reasons by the Chief Medical Commission on April 22; with Romanenko's status to be reviewed.
Zalyotin retired as a cosmonaut on May 1. I wonder who will take over his mission assignment of ISS-46/47 (Soyuz TMA-19M)

But she was selected for cosmonaut training or will she have another opportunity to be selected?

Interfax reported (citing an unnamed source) that Kikina will need to complete another year of basic training before she can qualify as a test-cosmonaut and begin spaceflight-specific training to be eligible for a mission assignment.
