On Expedition 38 will Mastracchio or Tyurin be ISS CDR?Thanks.
Whatever became of Sergey Zhukov, and considering his background, why was he ever selected in the first place?
And for that matter, Sergei Revin. He was selected in 1996 and the next available slot is probably 2014. An 18 year wait, if he's lucky.
Sergei Revin will be part of Exp 29/30 (Soyuz-TMA 22). Or did something change without me noticing?
And is there any chance for Zhukov to fly -- or is he already removed from the cosmonaut group?
According to an information on the Novosti kosmonavtiki forum Sergey Zalyotin has returned to the cosmonaut group of the TsPK, effective Jan, 11th 2011.

Note that Irina Soliovyova was present too, so it may not mean that he is back in the Cosmonaut Corps.
Perhaps a little off topic, but it did discuss a Cosmonaut's assignment to a mission. See: Cosmonaut Crashed Into Earth 'Crying In Rage' by Robert Krulwich http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2011/03/21/134597833/cosmonaut-crashed-into-earth-crying-in-rage Take care.
