Roscosmos Head Signs the Order to Establish United Cosmonaut Corps.

Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov signed the Order "About Establishment of Roscosmos' United Cosmonaut Corps" of Dec. 7, 2010.
The order defines completion of Roscosmos Cosmonaut Corps establishment in GCTC by Jan. 1, 2011.
The Corps is to unite cosmonauts of three groups - GCTC, RSC-Energia and IBMP – in a single infrastructure in order to "enhance cosmonaut selection and training effectiveness and to maintain coordinated national policy in human space missions".

Not sure whether this is the correct thread to post this question....

NASA bio says that Oleg Kononenko received the Hero of the Russian Federation in 2009. However, according to "Kremlin website (http://eng.kremlin.ru/news/1553)" Oleg Kononenko has been awarded Gold Star Medal yesterday (30 December 2010). Is this the same Oleg Kononenko (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oleg_Kononenko) or are they two different individuals?

Yes, yesterday's Oleg Kononenko is the test pilot, not cosmonaut.

There were two O. Kononenko in Space Training:
Oleg Dmitriyevich Kononenko http://www.spacefacts.de/bios/cosmonauts/english/kononenko_oleg_d.htm : The one who flew soyuz TMA-12, still in active
and Oleg Grigorievich Kononenko http://www.spacefacts.de/bios/cosmonauts/english/kononenko_oleg_g.htm test-pilot selected for the Buran program, who died on a plane crash in 1980.

So this must be a third Oleg Kononenko, test pilot

It's been some time (about a year, I think) since this forum has seen updates on training groups. Does anyone have access to this information and can they post?

It would be more exact to say that the three corps are fused in only one (TsPK) from January 1st, 2011.

Sorry for the late answer.
According to information from Mr. Shamsutdynow in the forum of Novosti kosmonavtiki the following changes have occurded
- S. Ryazanski has left the IMBP in December 2010 (through this there is none cosmoanut in the IMBP)and became a member of the cosmonaut group of the TsPK as a test-cosmonaut on Jan 1st 2011 (According to his biographie at astronaut.ru, he has done an individual training and got the qualifikation "test cosmonaut" in november 2010)
- the cosmonauts O. Kononeko, S. Revin, D. Kondratyev, O. Artemyev, Y. Serova and N. Tikhonov and the candidates A. Babkin, S. Kud-Sverchkov and I. Vagner became members of the cosmonaut group of the TsPK on 22nd Jan 2011, the candidate S. Morosov on Jan 25th.
At the moment there are still seven cosmonauts at Energiya.
The decision about their future will come within the next months.
I hope all my translations are correct,if not someone of our Russian members may improve it.

That should be Korniyenko instead of Kondratyev, who is, of course, an active duty Russian air force pilot who has been a member of the Gagarin Center team since 1997.

NK later reported that Skripochka will likely transfer after returning from his ISS mission, and that Tyurin, Yurchikhin and Borisenko will, too.  Kaleri will not; he is director of Energiya's Flight Service Department 29, and even though he is in training for an ISS mission, Vinogradov will not join the Gagarin Center group, either: he's Kaleri's deputy.

Serov isn't an active member of the Energiya team at the moment, so can't be transferred.

Ryazanski got certificate #199 as researcher cosmonaut. Has he got a new certificate as happened with Kotov or Baturin? Do you know the number?
Thanks

According to yesterday´s information on the forum Yurchikhin possible will not transfer to the TsPK.
Mark Serov is released from the duty of a test-cosmonaut due to an order of the  Head of Roscosmos from Jan, 28th.
And at least Prokpoyev started his OKP yesterday.
