Yes there is a min required upward force from the spring's potential energy, which shows as the linear ramp to the right & the peak to the left, to cause the Flight Thruster to engage Motor Mode and self generate the sustained small end directed Reaction Force.
And to add a bit more as the EmDrive gains momentum, the photons in the cavity lose a matching amount of momentum, their wavelengths increasing.
Need to say the momentum of photons in the cavity are 100% a part of the universe's momentum, despite some here claiming the photons inside the cavity are somehow isolated from the universe.
Interesting idea from some here that you can dump momentum inside a cavity and it is somehow isolated from the universe.
Very clear CofM violation there.
Plus they claim the cavity photon momentum loss is not related to the EmDrive accelerated mass gained momentum.
Clearly not making a lot of sense but maybe pushing an agenda that the EmDrive can't work.
....
....
Maybe consider your position when Martin Tajmar & 2 other verifiers post the Flight Thruster replicant I provided to them does exhibit thrust as claimed.
And YES when cavity photons lose momentum and exhibit overall increased wavelength that represents momentum loss, which matches the momentum gained by the EmDrive accelerated mass, CofM is conserved.
No magic involved, just a new type of machine that converts electrical momentum, yes electricity has momentum, into accelerative mass momentum.
....
....
So when cavity photons lose momentum and have longer wavelengths, as the EmDrive accelerated mass gains the same momentum, you somehow reject this conserves CofM?
Mate maybe consider how momentum transfer occurs in an electrical motor?

Congratulations, Have you already learned how your MTD transmits (radiates) an impulse from the inside of a closed system (such as a black box) to the environment?
Trapped cavity photons and their momentum are a part of the universe, the environment.
Being trapped inside the metal cavity does not isolate their momentum from the universe.
Electrical momentum, converted into Rf momentum, converted into cavity photon momentum, transfers momentum from outside the cavity to inside it.
That the photons can not escape the cavity, due to their wavelength vs skin depth does not magically remove/isolate the trapped photon momentum from the universe.
While we see the cavity as a closed box, in terms of the universe it is not closed and what happens inside the cavity is not isolated from the universe.
If that were the case, such a cavity would violate CofM as when photons were created inside the cavity, their momentum would no longer exist in the wider universe. Of course such a model is not the correct model.
When the EmDrive accelerates mass and it gains momentum, the trapped photons, the source of the gained momentum, lose momentum and their wavelengths increase.
Overall momentum in the universe does not change.
CofM is conserved.

When physicists began to develop quantum field theory, it turned out that the vacuum was not at all what it had been imagined for a long time - it was not an empty lifeless space devoid of substance. It turned out that quantum physics is capable of “tricks” even in the absence of quantum particles.
The source of such “tricks” is the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, more precisely, its variety related to energy. In ch. 2 we talked about the fact that quantum effects can suspend the law of conservation of energy for a very short time. During this period of time, energy can be borrowed for various purposes, including the birth of particles. Of course, all particles resulting from this will be short-lived, since the energy expended on them must be returned after a negligible fraction of a second. Nevertheless, particles can arise from nothing, gaining a fleeting being, before disappearing again. And this fleeting activity cannot be prevented. No matter how we try to empty the space, there will always be a swarm of fleeting particles, the occurrence of which is “subsidized” by the Heisenberg relation. These ghost particles cannot be observed, although they can leave traces of their short-term existence. They are a kind of “virtual” particles, similar to interaction carriers, but not intended for receiving or transmitting signals. Having emerged from the void, they again turn into it, providing a clear evidence of the existence of a force field and remaining at the same time ethereal ghosts.
What seemed like empty space is actually teeming with virtual particles. The vacuum is not lifeless and faceless, but full of energy. A “real” particle, such as an electron, should always be considered against the background of this continuous activity. Moving in space, the electron actually turns out to be in the circle of ghost particles - virtual leptons, quarks and interaction carriers - which is confusing in this mess. By his presence, he introduces disturbance into the continuous activity of the vacuum, which in turn affects the electron. Even in a state of rest, an electron does not know rest: from all sides it is constantly stormed by other particles that have emerged from vacuum.
If two electrons exchange a photon, then this is nothing more than an additional perturbation in the pre-existing exchange system. The description of particle interaction should take into account all these additional virtual quanta. In the presence of force fields, the full state of a given particle includes the processes of exchange of two, three, or a large number of mediator particles that interact with vacuum particles so that the original particle and mediator particles are literally surrounded by virtual particles. There is an infinite number of interactions, all in the same instant.
... You continue to ignore where the original electrical induced impulse is transferred to.
The energy is stored in the EM field, which dissolves through eddy currents in the conductive boundaries due to the resistance of the material and the associated losses. The particles of the conductive wall itself are excited/heated to move faster as this heat spreads outward and is radiated away in the infrared spectrum with the efficiency of a simple photon rocket, but isotropic in every direction.
So again, without some kind of NEW physics there is no way to explain or predict the propulsion of such cavity resonator higher than of a photon rocket. The Doppler-effect is so well understood that we can easily reject this as the source of thrust in the way you try to 'explain' it.
No new physics. The physics and thermodynamics is described by laser/sideband cooling. The system must be tuned on the edge of the red-side phase-slope. The slope of the curve, that is the cavity dispersion, determines the gain over a mere photon rocket, which would be a cavity with the apex totally reflective and the base absorptive, Q=1.
Again, only let photons/RF get absorbed and thermalized after they've been red-shifted delivering a tiny impulse momentum at the apex. Recycle photons based on frequency. Only let the photons out that give a + momentum impulse to the apex and get more absorbptive as the photons get redder and redder.
If there's no new physics, can you tell what happens to momentum when EM Drive starts moving? What balances its momentum so that conservation laws are not violated. And don't say dissipation or thermalisation, neither of those can make momentum magically disappear without new physics.

Also someone tried to make a version of the LEMdrive experiment with visible LED light instead of microwaves (see Taylor's paper: https://www.jbis.org.uk/paper/2017.70.238 ), but he did not have sensitive enough scale (predicted thrust according to quantised inertia is F=PQ/c=1x10/3e8=3e-9N. Predicted mass change = 0.003 mg, while his scale sensitivity is 0.1 mg). Thermal thrust is obvious though. Click these links to see the videos and pictures of the experiment:

Hi TT. I like this idea, I want to offer to look at it again. I thought that if we make the Emdrive resonator from copper with a very thin wall thickness. It may be one atomic atomic layer thick. Turn on the RF power and place it in the vacuum chamber. Then, we look at it all through the eyes of the physicist of quantum mechanics.
..
Why I chose this fragment from the book. I thought that if the thickness of the copper wall is one atom, then all these virtual vacuum gadgets are vacuum particles (note - I didn’t coined the term vacuum particle) - all these gadgets, well, they’ll be there, and the resonator’s EM photons will definitely be interact with these virtual vacuum particles with a high probability (more than 5 sigma). (For example, through the eddy current electrons, do you understand this idea?)
So, the momentum of the EM photon (which is reflected from the copper walls) - well, he will also create his own physics in the virtual world. But outside the resonator. In the sense of the universe (if endowed with reason) - it will know and feel exactly how EM photons fly and reflect in the EM resonator, and create their own reaction (disturbance).
SUMMARY
The present invention is directed to a craft using an inertial mass reduction device. The craft includes an inner resonant cavity wall, an outer resonant cavity, and microwave emitters. The outer resonant cavity wall and the inner resonant cavity wall form a resonant cavity. The microwave emitters create high frequency electromagnetic waves throughout the resonant cavity causing the outer resonant cavity wall to vibrate in an accelerated mode and create a local polarized vacuum outside the outer resonant cavity wall.
It is a feature of the present invention to provide a craft, using an inertial mass reduction device, that can travel at extreme speeds.
