A couple of weeks back I bought the B-52/X-15 combo, the old Revell kit reissued by Atlantis models. And it turns out to be a fun little build, albeit needing plenty of putty, sanding, and primer. It’s not finished yet, but very close. I just finished painting the B-52 in one of the schemes “Balls Three” sported when launching the X-15 in the early 60’s. Will start with some in-progress shots.
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Getting ready to put decals on sometime in the next 24 hours, then getting the clear parts and stand on. But first, here’s a shot of the B-52/X-15 from last night.
