This answers some questions re: "water" test v. cryo test.  Appears that its room temp. nitrogen first and then Cryo.  This is public info as its attached to the order.

(THIS WAS POSTED ON THEIR PUBLIC SITE AS SEEN).

So Elon recently posted a bunch of closeups of the SN3 #Starships's underbelly.
In the photos you can see parts of the landing leg assembly, so I spent couple of hours trying to visualize how they might work.

@elonmusk is this even remotely close?

Yes, v close! Nice work. Those are V0.9 legs, so major upgrades coming. Need wider span, longer stroke & ability to auto-level for uneven ground or leaning into high winds.

Yes!!! Auto leveling!!! That’s going to be key for other planetary bodies!!! Will SN4 probably still just use these for now though? Good enough for these controlled environments 👌

Yeah

Does this mean super heavy will have redesigned legs?

Definitely need a wider span

LadPadre stream screenshot. Site not yet clear but no cranes / people around SN3 now.

(SN3 is straight, bend is atmospheric artefact with camera some distance away.)
