I understand from contact with Soyeon Yi that Houston is currently scheduled for January 2008. The Koreans will be at home in Korea for most of December.
Last Monday, 22nd October, both crews visited Energia to inspect the Soyuz TMA-12 ship, which is nearing completion there. -

The two Koreans have flown home tonight and will spend the next few days on leave, before doing more training on the Korean experiment package at KARI. They fly direct to Houston on 11th January, ahead of their training there on the US segment of ISS. They're back in Star City around 20th January, when the major outstanding activity is the Winter Survival Training.

It is in Korean, but the images are self explanatory. It features Soyeon reviewing the feature on her, which I wrote, and which appears in the January 2008 edition of 'Spaceflight'. This has had quite a bit of coverage in Korean media, as they are intrigued that foreign media are interested in their programme.
Although she's currently still the back-up, don't write-off Soyeon Yi, for this Soyuz/ISS flight - there are still nearly four months to go, and a lot of reasons why things could be changed.

NASA SETS BRIEFING WITH NEXT STATION CREW, SPACEFLIGHT PARTICIPANT
HOUSTON - NASA will hold a media briefing at 1 p.m. CST Tuesday, Jan.
15, with the next resident crew of the International Space Station
and a South Korean spaceflight participant.
The briefing will originate from NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston,
and be broadcast live on NASA Television. Questions will be taken
from news media at participating NASA sites.
The briefing participants include:
- Expedition 17 Flight Engineer and NASA astronaut Gregory Chamitoff
- Expedition 17 Flight Engineer and NASA astronaut Sandy Magnus
- Expedition 17 Flight Engineer and NASA astronaut Garrett Reisman
- Expedition 17 Commander and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov
- Expedition 17 Flight Engineer and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko
- South Korean spaceflight participant Ko San, who will fly to the
complex under a commercial agreement with the Russian Federal Space
Agency
Volkov, Kononenko, Reisman, Chamitoff and Magnus will be available for
individual round-robin interviews in person or by phone following the
news conference. There also will be a brief photo opportunity. To
participate in the interviews, news media should contact the Johnson
newsroom at 281-483-5111 no later than 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14.
On April 8, Volkov, Kononenko and Ko San will launch to the station
aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft. Ko San will return to Earth with
Expedition 16 Commander Peggy Whitson and Flight Engineer Yuri
Malenchenko on April 19 in a Soyuz.
Reisman will fly to the station on the STS-123, which is targeted to
launch in March. Chamitoff will replace Reisman on the station and is
scheduled to launch on the STS-124 mission in April. Magnus will join
the Expedition 17 crew in the fall and replace Chamitoff.

Believe it or not, but the last time 3 rookies were launched as a crew was almost 35 years ago on Skylab 4 (Carr Gibson Pogue).

A friend on the French forum of astronautics just remarked that in 1994, Soyouz TM-19 was manned by two rookies (MOUSSABAÏEV and MALENTCHENKO)...
And there was also the two "taikonauts" of Shenzhou-6... -

Nicolas...there have been quite a few 2 person launches in which both crew memberas were flying for the first time, including the ones you listed previously, however 3 person flights with all rookies are quite rare.

Is today 5 hour msk to the railway station To tyura-Tam it arrived the train, which delivered in Baikonur the manned spacecraft "union TMA-12" and accessory equipment for it. After conducting of the necessary customs procedures the composition will be converted to intra-spaceportrailroad and transported on the area of 254 spaceports.
After the method of load, the ship will be unloaded and established into the stand in the clean hall of the assembly and testing housing of the area of 254 spaceports. Preparation of ship for the launching will be conducted by the joint calculation of the enterprises Of roskosmosa.
The starting of "union TMA-12" on the carrier rocket "Soyuz-fG" is planned on 8 April, 2008.
During this day from the area of 1 spaceports to S had to leave the cosmonauts of the 17th basic expedition Sergey volkov and Oleg kononenko and the Korean cosmonaut of the 14th expedition of visit San ko. the forthcoming launching will become the 15th flight of the Russian manned ship to S. On 31 October, 2000, to the international station started the first Russian manned ship - "union TM-EY". In 2002 began ship operation "union TMA".
In connection with an increase of the number of crew S in 2009, the number is starting that piloted of ships from Baikonur it will grow. Proportionally it will increase and the number it is starting "progress". In such heavy duty with respect to the guarantee of the manned program Baikonur will work to the end of operation S, which is now planned in 2015.
Meanwhile Roskosmos and and other space agencies consider that the station must work, also, after this period, as the minimum up to 2020, and they attempt to convince of this and their American partners.

Today at the spaceport Baikonur began works with the manned spacecraft "union TMA-12". Calculations RKK "energy" of the name Of s.P.Koroleva "and FKTS" Baikonur "conducted unloading automatic spacecraft from the railroad car into the stock. After the completion of dynamic operations the specialists of spaceport approached jointing of ground-based communications with the equipment of spacecraft and preparation for conducting of pneumatic tests.
Launching the spacecraft of "union TMA-12" on the carrier rocket "Soyuz-fG" is planned on 8 April, 2008. Aboard the ship on S had to leave the cosmonauts of the 17th basic expedition Sergey volkov and by Oleg kononenko and the Korean cosmonaut of the 14th expedition of visit San ko.
Russian cosmonauts will work on S during half a year in the composition of the 17th basic crew, and Korean cosmonaut must return to the earth in ten days of flight in the descent ship vehicle "union TMA-11" together with Yuri malenchenko and Peggi Of uitson.
Launching "union TMA-12" must become the 15th flight of the Russian manned ships of a series "Soyuz" to the international station.

Monday 3rd March is the official photo shoot for the crews. Watch out for those crew images being released in the next few days.

Tests of a piloted spacecraft "Soyuz TMA-12" calculations "Energia" and the enterprises of branch today have started the further checks of systems of a space vehicle.
Works on preparation of "Soyuz" pass all strictly under the schedule. Start of the next expedition on is planned for April, 8th, 2008

I hate to say "I told you so"...............back in December.
Big, big congratulations to Soyeon, who actually is now Dr. Soyeon Yi, having had her doctorate conferred, in her absence on 29th February.
It will be confirmed tomorrow in Korea.
Actually, this photo appeared on Reuters on Friday, but no-one else seemed to notice.
