Hey everyone, my first time here!

My name is Sarwech and I launched a site called Space Bandits where I share the stories of the founders of space companies. So far it has Open Cosmos, Fleet, Orbit Fab, Accion Systems and more.

Here's the link: https://www.spacebandits.io

Would love to get your thoughts on what you think of the site and interviews? Trying to make this as useful as possible to the space community and, hopefully, maybe even inspire some people!

Please do share any feedback you have.

Not sure if I've posted this in the right place, if not, please kindly move it!

Welcome.

Seems OK here but could also be in historical. Disinclined to move it though.

Sounds like a really cool project. Good luck!  Why "Spacebandits" though? These guys aren't thieves...

Thanks Lar! Honestly, I just thought the name sounded cool lol. Maybe it could be said (now) that the outsiders are coming into a sector previously dominated by powerful countries.

Are there any private space companies that you like to follow? Other than the big ones!

DSI don't exist anymore, bought by Bradford. Not all bad news, Bradfords haven't given up on Asteriod mining side of things. At this stage they are interested in marketing DSI Comet water thruster and BLEO smallsat bus DSI were developing. Both of which are needed for any asteriod mining vehicles.

I can like DSI and PRI even if neither exists. I followed both their threads avidly.  I would argue that DSI "quasi" exists because Bradford is carrying out their mission, at least in part. They pivoted.

I released an interview today with Daniel Faber, co-founder and CEO of Orbit Fab, and he was previously the CEO of DSI. He mentions some of the story around that and how asteroid mining is still a goal. Let me know what you think!

Will look into the other smaller ones too, Rocket Lab in particular are very exciting 👍

Re RocketLab ... I hope you can get an interview with Peter Beck, I bet he'd be a really fun interview.

An excellent suggestion. He's forgotten more stuff about startups and the space biz than most current founders know....

Lar, I hope so too! Trying to get in touch with Peter's PR team to arrange this and will keep you posted on here.

Rocket Science, thanks for the suggestion. HMXHMX/Gary is a legend from what I've read! Do you know where I could find his contact info? Will try a DM as well.
