Just saw this article on NBC

https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/science/nasa-s-17-billion-moon-rocket-may-be-doomed-it-ncna991061

"I'll never forget being at Marshall with the leadership team the day that SpaceX announced the Heavy," said Lori Garver, NASA's deputy administrator from 2009 to 2013. She recalls NASA officials telling her: "Lori, you have got to tell your friend Elon he can't do that. He's in our lane. You made us get out of low-Earth orbit, so we've given him that lane, but this is our lane. We build the big rockets."

You have to laugh else you’d cry. Made me think there’s got to be scope to make it into a cartoon. Perhaps a one off Deputy Dawg special episode SLS v Starship with Deputy Dawg playing NASA, The Sheriff playing the US administration, Musky playing Elon Musk and Ty coon playing Geoff Bezos and all based in Florida.

Darn vermints  ;D

My optimistic hope is that it will become cool to really think about things... rather than just doing reactive bullsh*t based on no knowledge (Brian Cox)

...Meanwhile; Elon is building and flying rockets, while the 'old guard' are still spending billions and only just putting together the first flight articles more than 8 years after the start of the SLS program...

Yep you got the picture - just seemed strangely appropriate somehow what with names like Musky and Ty coon and being based in Florida ;D
