Burt Rutan speech in Louisville Kentucky
« on: 10/08/2006 07:34 pm »

Has anyone attended a speech by Burt Rutan? He is speaking  http://www.ideafestival.com/?607  in Louisville Kentucky (where I live ) this saturday and it's in conflict with some other plans. I was wondering if it's worth the $25 to attend and cancelling some plans for an excellent weekend of rock climbing. Opinions? There are some other presenters as well that may be interesting. Lynn Harper NASA Ames http://www.ideafestival.com/?601 , John Barrow http://www.ideafestival.com/?594. Thanks.

I got see him speak about 3 weeks after he won the Ansari X Prize. I enjoyed it, but would imagine right now with more information being released about SS2 and things that it would be more worth it now than it was then. Granted when he was here it was free at the LBJ Library at UT.
