"MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. The Proton-M launch vehicle with a satellite of the Russian Defense Ministry launched on Tuesday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was reported to journalists in the information department of the military department.
"At 00:56 Moscow time, the launch of a heavy-class launch vehicle "Proton-M" with a spacecraft in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry was successfully launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome (Republic of Kazakhstan)," the ministry said in a statement.
As specified in the Ministry of Defense, the pre-launch operations and the launch of "Proton" were successful. Control of the launch and flight of the launch vehicle was carried out by the means of a ground-based automated control system."

Just to point out that the lead photo is not from this launch. The photo information says it is Amazonas 5 from 12 September 2017.
