I just booked my hotel room for NG-10. Anyone else headed out to the eastern shore?
I have a new toy, a 200-600mm lens... hopefully seeing will be good at that time of day. Plan to go to Old Ferry.
Launch time is 4:49 EST, before astronomical dawn.

I can't find a viewing chart from NG for NG-10, so here's the one from OA-9:
For reference, jmsjr's excellent map:

Here's the NG-10 viewing chart, from a @NASA_Wallops tweet:

I prefer the directly-overhead view, personally.
I was at the ferry dock for OA-5 & OA-8 and I'll probably be there this time. For OA-9 I tried a new [to me] location near a residential neighborhood 3 miles south of the pad, just to change things up and get away from the crowds. It worked, but it was a pretty lonely experience all by myself.
The ISS will be passing high overhead at 5:06 AM (about 17 min after T-0) on Thursday morning. It would be really cool to combine two, long exposure shots of the launch streak and ISS flyby. If that doesn't work out, I have a 1500mm telescope to get some close-up photos. Here's a
liftoff shot from OA-9, for example.
I'm supposed to fly to Atlanta late on Friday. With my luck, weather will push the launch to Saturday and I'll miss it

At least it looks like it won't be below freezing like last year!
Credit to Northrop Grumman for the graphic attached. The five-minute launch window opens at 4:49 am EST on Thursday, Nov. 15th.
Delayed 24 hours for weather. That's what I get for renting a hotel room in advance. :/
Doesn't look much better for Friday, but odds are much better on Saturday. (Also better for random sailboats..)

Here's hoping the Friday forecast improves. That will be my only opportunity.
In the meantime, I'm trying to figure out if any part of the launch could theoretically be seen from Atlanta, GA. According to FlightClub's trajectory simulation, I might be able to catch a glimpse of it above the horizon if conditions are especially clear on Saturday. Maybe.
From the Facebook Site
https://www.facebook.com/NASAWFF/"Rain, rain go away. Due to inclement weather, the launch of the Northrop Grumman Corporation CRS-10 mission has been rescheduled for for Saturday, Nov. 17 at 4:01 a.m."
The view from Long Island, New York this morning was really amazing!
Flames appeared reddish-orange.
Saw about a minute and a half of flight followed by first stage shut-down.
Here are a couple taken from the Old Ferry Dock. Should mention there was construction at the dock we still could view, looks like the boat ramp was being replaced. The police did swing by but never stopped, so I guess it was ok to stay at the site, which of course everyone did. ;-)
