first pic - only yg on the same path, a lm2d/yg-24 from 20nov2014

second pic - only lm4c/3x yg-25 from 10dec2014

edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention that a fairing was seen moving around (not on its own) at Jiuquan that looks like the extended lm2c one - third pic

If CZ-2D or CZ-4C, it will be the 100th launch of Shanghai-built launch vehicle.

Now they say CZ-2C instead for this launch

That "Ministry of Agriculture" is a parody reference to classified payloads.  ;)
If you read the official news for any Chinese spysat launch, many of them lists "crops production measurements" as one of the satellites' functions (which they are more than capable of).  :)

There's also the thing that one of CCTV's (the Chinese state television broadcaster) TV channel, CCTV-7, is the dedicated "Military and Agriculture" channel. Yeah, no kidding. ;)

So, CCTV-7 will be carrying this launch "live" then? ;)

Huh, assumed it was a remote sensing spysat but thought the ministry of agriculture is an "official cover". TIL

Well, if we have an Yaogan Weixing designation we will know the nature of the payload. But a new designation would be very apreciated.

So its a triplet launch with with likely 3 more groups of triplets to launch by Chinese New Year like the 4 out of XSLC.

That name is now confirmed thanks to this new article on the Yuan Wang 7 tracking ship currently in the Indian Ocean: https://media.weibo.cn/article?id=2309404292874308071256  ;)

It happens that there's an article detailing MDR for a launch from JSLC held on the 5th, during the PRC establishment day national holidays: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/Z8XVuMOq8x2NVNvKWdjnlg. This is most certainly for this launch.

We got two photos of the CZ-2C rocket along with the MCC and other preparation works during the dress rehearsal:
