On the official NASA one we had the briefing, and we had the call that the side hatch is open, but that was it.
I am hearing subtle noise on both streams which suggests there simply is nothing radioing at the time.

Each of the hand rests on the seats(of the simulator at least) look different. Any idea why?

Storms over the complex now will be moving offshore, but a fairly big storm has developed near Kississimmee and is headed towards KSC. The timing of all this activity is great - as the more we get now, the less unstable the airmass will be later.

Wave heights on the buoy near recovery zone are back down under 10ft.

The NASA TV media feed is not only showing the events we're missing with the public feed's add-on info, but it's also playing audio updates that the public feed isn't.

yep, albeit there is certainly a lot less chatter here than what I remember from the STS back in the day....or perhaps most on the internal ones...

Wait 2 hours.

This reminds me of living in the Cape during the shuttle days.  Even if weather is unlikely, they go ahead with the show.  It's good TV and gets lots of eyeballs.  However, on the chance you get a good weather window you take it.

So many things have to come together for human flights, you have to shoot your shot.  As Wayne Gretzky said 'you miss 100% of the shots you don't take'
Starship, Vulcan and Ariane 6 have all reached orbit.  New Glenn, well we are waiting!

Why are they re-using the Nasa worm logo on the teslas and press centre?

Very true,

Did my Commercial Pilot Hourbuilding in Kissimmee back in 2009 round the same time of the year, wether it is flying a small light aircraft or spaceflight, you had to be extremely flexible and opportunistic

Remember trying to catch STS-127, killed two nights at KSC Visitors Park with the damn ECO valves playin up and another 3 afternoons on the causeway.

The Shuttle used to use a portable platform that  straddled the opening so that there was no chance of stepping on it.
Looks like the Dragon doesn't have this.

Radar indicates rotation that might result in a tornado well to the north - moving east so no threat.

PAO just said the forecast has worsened with 60% POV (but I don't see what's changed from earlier.)
