The Kyl-Bingaman Amendment, which limits satellite imagery resolution over Israel and the State of Palestine to 2m, is now under review by ACCRES, as can be seen in their meeting minutes from August 2017:

https://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/CRSRA/files/ACCRES_22nd_Meeting_Minutes_Final.pdf

A research paper can be seen online in Space Policy (with access) at: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.spacepol.2018.03.002

Or a preprint version open-access (although missing some important additions to the final article) at:

The current ACCRES review may lead to a lowering of the current U.S. limit to c.0.5m in line with imagery now available from Airbus and Kompsat, or even the more pragmatic abandonment of the KBA altogether. In either scenario, this should also lead to the further declassification of earlier spy satellite output over the region from the KH-7 Gambit and KH-9 Hexagon missions, which will be of great value to geographers, earth scientists, archaeologists and others.
