Now, Space X's recovery ships Will be approaching the capsule.
Then, Dragon will be brought to the Port of Long Beach for initial post-saving steps & removal of time-critical cargo (shipped back to NASA within 48 hours of landing for post-flight analysis and distribution to the participating scientific institutions).

Nice article, Chris, and great photo. Is that actually CRS-14?  Based on the wake and the bow wave, those chutes are dragging that Dragon along at a pretty good clip. The world's first wind-surfing Dragon!

Do we have any info on the wind speed, and if there were any recovery complications?

Thanks.

NRC Quest is ~12 hours out from port, averaging a strong 10 knot average over the last 12 hours. Probably gonna arrive before dawn tomorrow, in other words :(

It's archive photo of Dragon C2+ recovery (May 31, 2012).

Note that current parachutes have a new design, different color pattern with a white edge - as in the picture above.
These parachutes were already seen for example in recent parachute drop test (March 4, 2018).

That just you IMO. This Dragon looks very similar to previous landed Dragons.
