If Yunhai-2 is a weather constellation as suggested, do we have any idea if it is  traditional imaging,
or perhaps GNSS-RO (like the Spire Lemurs)?   Has China talked about GNSS-RO meteorology at all? Seems like an obvious think for them to try out using Beidou and LEO sats.

Looking at the stories linked above, it seems that the Hongyan test satellite has been named 'Chongqing'

It is built by Shenzhen Hangtian DFH HIT Weixing YG, with comms payload by CAST's Xi'an branch,
and is owned by Hangtian Keji Jituan DFH Weixing Yidong Tongxin YG 航天科技集团东方红卫星移动通信有限公司
(CASC DFH Mobile Communications Co)

It also seems that YZ-3 is built by SAST, not CALT.  I had thought that YZ-1 and perhaps 2 were CALT stages, is that right?

Yunhai-2 are also built by Shenzen Hangtian DFH HIT.

As launch code appears to be "01-99" what is the launch code for the previous launch out of JSLC (Saudisat, Dec 7)?

We also have Object H (the 8th object, YZ-3?):

2018-112H/43916 in 186 x 195 km x 50.00° (epoch 13:27 UTC)

Seems more likely the CZ-2D second stage, with YZ-3 having moved from that orbit to deploy the sats
and then deorbited itself at the end?

south or southeast of Australia around 1145 UTC

No, it is the cluster of the 6 Yunhai-2 satellites attached to YZ-3. Maybe Hongyan-1 was positioned at the top of the stage and was released first. I have enlarged a best available picture of Yunhai-2 taken from the JSLC screen.

Thanks! The image is just after second stage separation, so Hongyan 1 should still be attached. Maybe Hongyan 1 is in the middle of the six Yunhai-2 satellites.
