Iíve seen articles on other public platforms within the last couple of months that said certain house and senate panels have told them this is it in terms of JWST. Keep it within this budget or your done.

It's a good budget, but I'd take the "best in a decade" bit with a grain of salt, because the Planetary Society appears to have used the CPI (consumer price index) to compare historical budgets.  If you want to ask how much consumer consumption the US is foregoing to fund NASA, the CPI might be relevant.  If, as is more likely, you want to know how much stuff NASA can buy as compared to a decade ago, it's not the right measure of inflation.
