So based on the projected launch cost saving that FH makes available, one could imagine 4 planetary missions for the price of 3.

Or if we assume a 2 post docs working for 5 years would cost would cost 1 million dollars then JPL could hire 150 to 600 post docs with the saved money to analyze the data.

Minor typo: "fully expandable configuration" should be "fully expendable configuration"

I'm talking about this paragraph:

Quote
United Launch Alliance (ULA) is also working on its new vehicle, Vulcan, that will serve as a replacement to the Atlas V and Delta IV rockets.  While Vulcan will initially debut in a fully expandable configuration, ULA plans to introduce SMART reuse (no earlier than 2025), where the engine compartment of Vulcan’s first stage will separate after launch and parachute toward the ocean for recovery, refurbishment, and reuse.

Great article and stunning photos, ChrisG and Brady!
From the article:

The extraordinary video from this car orbiting Earth makes clear to every young person in America that having a career in the space industry – even actually going to space – is as real, tangible, and achievable as becoming a dentist, a lawyer, a civil engineer, or any other job that requires focus and hard work.
