Public development at SpaceX Mcgregor
« on: 02/08/2018 09:50 am »
Hi, it seems the Mcgregor thread that used to be here has *poof* disappeared.

Since I’m no longer L2, have to assume that’s where it disappeared to...but surely not everything associated with Mcgregor is L2 sensitive.
For example, below is a great YouTube video about SpaceX Mcgregor:

Who knows if it’s been posted here as the Mcgregor thread is disappeared.

Right here directly from SpaceX:

At about 1:57 during the 1st stage firing, there is cold vapor (GOX?) moving along the ground in the lower right hand side of the frame. Would that just be some part of the GSE venting? I don't recall seeing anything like that at the launch sites, but it could be much further away or not in view of any of the public camera views.

(I don't know how to make the YouTube link embed, if someone wanted to do that for me, that would be great)
You want to be inspired by things. You want to wake up in the morning and think the future is going to be great. That's what being a spacefaring civilization is all about. It's about believing in the future and believing the future will be better than the past. And I can't think of anything more exciting than being out there among the stars.
