I routinely purchase other regions DVD and BR and use a PC software called MakeMKV that rips everything (including distributer protection) into MKV files with all audio tracks and subtitles.

If you can watch it on a computer, or connect a computer to your TV, you can download a variety of media players that can read multi-region disks.

That's what I thought as well, but I've searched around, tried to install a couple and they don't allow multi-region playback. Floyd, I have VLC player and it doesn't even play Blu-Ray (to my surprise).

If any of you know of a specific region-free Blu-Ray player program I'd love to hear about it.

(Most of my TV watching, btw, plays on the computer and is displayed on the TV via an HDMI cable)
