Hi there,
Making a new thread for the launch of the
MX 1E? Scout Class Explorer aboard the Electron rocket.
I'm not completely sure on the exact name/configuration of the spacecraft:
Gunters specifies a
MX 1E which is also mentioned in a recent
news article. However the
official website of Moon Express does not have a MX 1E explorer listed, there is only a MX 1 explorer.
There is a quote from a 2015 news article:
Moon Express plans to use the launches to send to the moon new, smaller versions of its MX-1 lunar lander.

From this quote I assume the MX 1E is a modified version of the MX 1 for the Electron Rocket.
There is a
thread on Moon ExpressPerhaps your answers are there.
Posts are from 12/2013 until 8/2017, nothing recent

Ben Roberts, Moon Express: our first mission should be late next year; depends on customers and launch providers. #NewSpace2018

Roberts: we’ll likely use the Electron launches under contract for orbital missions versus lunar landers. That’s based on NASA’s desire to maximize landed mass for its Commercial Lunar Payload Services program. #NewSpace2018
With LauncherOne MX1 should be capable of its max 30kg payload. May even be able to use LauncherOne for MX2.
