At 1h8m of the video, it is mentioned that SpaceX must fly 7 times in the same configuration (i.e. F9, block 5) prior to being certified:

The 7 flights can include the demo flights as they are prior to certification.

Gerst also confirmed (what we knew from L2) that NASA has exercised the remaining optional Soyuz-Boeing flights. The last purchased Soyuz-Boeing flight will launch in the spring of 2019 and land in the fall of 2019.

What is meant by configuration? Do only Dragon flights count, or to fairing encapsulated payloads also count?
