Yes the NOTAMED zones are close, I propose to call it LKW-3? for the time being (and also to set a tentative T0 around 07:13 UTC if GP has no objection

)

I have got to know that the military post office of JSLC has planned a set of 4 souvenir enveloppes on the occasion of the LKW launches.The first two enveloppes MPO-JF154(4-1) and MPO-JF154(4-2) were allready issued commemorating LKW-1 and LKW-2. We can assume that the remaining enveloppes resp. LKW-3 and LKW-4 will come soon.

This launch was (both officially and unofficially) the 99th space launch from Jiuquan. Seems LKW-4 would be the 100th.

No confirmation but as LKW-2 launch code was confirmed as "01-85" (see below), we would expect "01-86" for this one

I *never* assume anything with the Chinese, no matter how reasonable it might be!!!

The lack of official information suggests a failure to reach the desired orbit.
LKW-3's orbit is nominal minus the RAAN and inclination in relation to the first two LKW's.
Catalogued as 2017-084A/43080. The orbit is coplanar with the first satellite in the series.
Confirmed!
LKW-2's orbit at epoch 10:04Z: 491 x 502 km x 97.46° RAAN: 70.60° 2017-084A/43080
LKW-1's orbit at epoch 04:52Z: 488 x 504 km x 97.46° RAAN: 69.72° 2017-077A/43034
Satellite longitude difference: 180°
LTDN: 10:30 am

Or the lack of information could be because the Chinese have said all that they want for the first two satellites and they don't want to repeat it.

Can't see any problem in this. First pair of LKWs has local descent node crossing at 10:30 and the second pair at 13:30. Very reasonable.

Ummm... it's occured to me that LKW-1 and -2 are working at exactly the same orbital height as the three Tianhui mapping satellites. A coincidence or not?
