Please please please if you are definitely coming to our NSF meetup for Falcon Heavy, or even just considering coming, fill out this form.  We have made reservations but need to keep the restaurant informed of how many of us our coming.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Do we have a time and place then? Would be nice to know so I can nail down plans.

Hi all. I am flying down from New Jersey early Sunday and will be in the cape area by around noon. I am definitely going to the meet up and have completed the survey. I have an extra Feel The Heat voucher at the Saturn 5 Center due to my buddy backing out at the last minute. Just lookin to get face value if anyone is interested. Would hate for it to go to waste. If I have violated any forum rules please delete this post. My real life name is Tony.

Yeah, I might buy it. I am still debating if I should go to Playalinda beach instead.

Has anyone heard rumors about Jetty Park? Wasn't planning to be there right at open, but based on what we are hearing from Playalinda maybe I should be.

I so wish I was there with you guys! :( It'd be great to meet you all. I'm aiming to certainly be there for the 'Lunar Tourist' flight, if and when it occurs...

Woo hoo! My NSF.com baseball jersey arrived in time! The cat approves.

Nice quality cotton, runs very large though.

Shame it's the old logo, maybe Chris will update the store soon

Come up and say hi if you see me in it.

About to get on the road and start heading south. Be in Tampa for my work errand by 7 or 8pm tonight and then off towards the cape area tomorrow morning.

Look forward to meeting a bunch of you at Fishlips tomorrow night.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE --- NSF Falcon Heavy MEMBER MEETUP --- UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Last updated on Sunday, Feb. 4th, 2018 around noon, somewhere in Florida, on a potential frog-strangler of a day.
(now that the scene is set)

Please take the SURVEY  8)

NSF is reserved at Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill for Monday, Feb 5 at 6:00 PM EST. We have the upstairs outside patio (covered) pretty much to ourselves.  I will get some signs hung somewhere so that all the world can gawk at our space flight nerdiness.

If you'd like to arrive a little early and help out a bit, please PM me. Think of it as a little extra time to enjoy a pint or two.

If you plan to attend PLEASE fill out the short survey HERE. This will let me know if we need to adjust our reservation count.

Thanks!

c - the other, other, other Chris

I won't be there until around 1am so Fishlips is out for me.  What about a post launch celebration Tues or Wed night?

Yes! Same for me! Definitely would love to see you all post-launch.

I am so excited and even a bit nervous.
But am pretty good prepared with 1 Gb data
SIM, proper binoculars, a rental car and my MacBook and iPhone.
Although a bit afraid the cell service will be overwhelmed and likely useless for each ring any live stream. Hopefully at least enough for messages on this forum.

Bring tissues and a flag to wave (doesn't matter from which country it is). Launches have an effect on people. Be emotionally prepared (if it goes up) to see people weep openly.

Good point, [quick little story] I was on the verge of tears and was waving around a tiny American flag while watching the New Horizons Pluto flyby on NASATV, just sitting in my living room, watching TV. Space things can be emotional.
