Congratulations to all concerned, except whoever set up the feeds, both of the lower images are pretty clearly the same booster...  But you're forgiven too!!!!

That was awesome. Thank you, SpaceX, for the most important launch of the 21st century, so far...

Did SpaceX get the trifecta? (all three boosters recovered)

The side-by-side landing of the boosters was so amazing as to almost be unbelievable.
And the views of the Tesla roadster in space were stunning!
Congrats to all of Space-X

Is the loss of the center booster confirmed?
...weren't we supposed to be on Mars by now?

Speechless. SpaceX managed to bring a tear to my eye at how fundamentals awe-inspiring it all was. I think this is the closest I'll get to experiencing something like the original space race and Apollo moon missions.

Congratulations to SpaceX, USAF and everyone else involved. This was an absolutely spectacular sight.

Fingers crossed for primary mission success.

Have we got an update for the Center stage yet? :(
it reportedly missed the Droneship but not by much per:
The announcer clearly states We lost the center core:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbSwFU6tY1c?t=38m25s

on the countdown net.
But would that be how they'd actually call it out? Then again it wouldn't be the standard callout for loss of camera feed either.

They likely had telemetry, if not on-board video

amazing. Congratulations for clearing the tower, getting through maxQ and stage sep, and for the 2 boosters landing. WOW. Looking forward to further updates on the rest - get that car to mars distance!

Wow I don't really know what to say but I have to post something to celebrate the moment. What a blast of a launch, I can't even imagine the feelings of those inside mission control and the ones at the cape. Absolutely iconic launch and flat-out beautiful in its carefully engineered choreography. The roar at liftoff, the booster sep, their synchronized landing, the reveal of stamen and that 'DON'T PANIC' on the Roadster's instrument cluster... whoa. This is something to remember and hopefully it's just the beginning.
Waiting for the coast but for now congratulation to all those people that made this possible.
Go Falcon Heavy!

Congrats to SpaceX on what appeared to be a successful Falcon Heavy test flight!

I'm so impressed!

The announcer clearly states We lost the center core:

on the countdown net.

That's a shame, they were going to get lots of good data tearing that down and x-raying the welds.  And no refly opportunity.  But in the grand scheme of things, they achieved their goals.  No matter what the 2nd stage does now, the Falcon Heavy flew beautifully.

It sounds to me like he was referring to the signal from the core.

(This is all supposed to be Updates until mission is completed, y'all...)

That's what I presumed too.  I'm glad 95% of this mission went well, with or without a core landing.  A double booster landing already is incredible enough coupled with a car in space now.

Absolutely amazing!  It would have been nice to recover the center core, but I am sure they will figure out what went wrong.  The sight of the two side boosters landing simultaneously back at the Cape looked like something out of science fiction!  Congratulations, SpaceX!

Screw the 'no congratulations before payload deployment'. THAT WAS FANTASTIC. Multiple boosters landing simultaneously, a car in space, all images that were pure science fiction up to today. YYYEEEAAAHHH.

Congratulations on the most epic launch of the past decade to all involved. IT WORKED! Pure madness!

Shame if the center core ended up in the drink. Oh well, it was an old spec design. Here's hoping that Block 5 ones work flawlessly for that triple.

Oh, and some more upper stage burns still to go, bit sad they cut this short, but understandable due to the amount of viewers who would get bored over the 20 min coast.

Wow, that was something - huge congratulation! :)

Watching the webcast was a bit stressfull - first I was rembering the good old launch complex designer Barmin (at least don't blow up on the launchpad!).
Then the max Q (hopefully, the aerodynamics works out fine) and finally side booster separation (no way to simulate that - and it worked!).

And then the landing ballet (hopefully the center code is fine as well) and the totally gorgeous Spaceman in the Rosdster show - something marvelous!

And it not all over yet - so fingers crossed that all the remaining stage 2 burns go well & all the remaining recrovery operations are successfull as well! :)

And looking forward to further updates. :)

Congratulations to everyone at SpaceX!!!

I guess lighting 27 engines isn’t so impossible after all. (No issues during the static fire and now only one launch attempt needed) Hopefully this is the final nail in the “as few as possible” engine philosophy.

I was screaming my damn head off.

The best thing is... this is just the first. The smoke off to the one side in the last frame suggests the core missed the ship. Ah well, it's just a test, right? Nobody's perfect!

Congrats to you crazy awesome SpaceX people!
