Thanks to Steven and Chris G for the updates! What a year for spaceflight. I almost forgot that this was a reused booster- it's already become routine. :D
Waiting for joy and raptor

Yep, Go Quest's crew is scanning for recoverable debris with night vision goggles ;D really rather confusing, why would SpaceX choose to expend 1036, have it soft land, but then go to the effort of attempting to recover bits of its remnants? Just for the fun of it? ;D

Had to sleep this one out but many congratulations to SpaceX and Iridium! Some very dramatic footage of launch and stage separation etc.

Fantastic end to a great year for SpaceX with top two priorities met: no failures & eaten in to the launch backlog! Of course many other pluses too, particularly around reuse. Canít wait to see what 2018 brings.

Congratulations to SpaceX and all who were involved with the launch. Those rockets just keep on flying again, must be causing waves behind the scenes with the competition...

Congratulations to all concerned. Missed it live due to sleeping caused by an early start today.

Congrats SpaceX, Iridium and the folks at Vandenburg. What a way to cap off the year.

I didn't check launch time until first thing yesterday morning and considered jumping in the car and making the 7 hour drive, but decided against it, as I'm planning to go see PAZ liftoff in January. I'm really kicking myself now, after seeing all the beautiful pictures and footage.
Launches attended: Worldview-4 (Atlas V 401), Iridium NEXT Flight 1 (Falcon 9 FT), PAZ+Starlink (Falcon 9 FT)
