Per SFN, launch window is 8:28 pm to 12:28 am  EST.

The time from Turksat’s tweet above is incorrect.

Turkey is in UTC+3.  The time is correct.  For them.

It was probably more obvious in the tweet's original Turkish, before machine translation (presumably) mangled it...

L-1 launch weather forecast has improved to 70% GO (still with moderate high level winds risk)

Jansen is referring to the minutes, not the hour.

Turkish Tweet lists launch window opening at 26 minutes after the hour: incorrect.
SFN lists launch window opening at 28 minutes after the hour: correct.

There were some protests asking SpaceX to drop this customer due to the recent war in Nagorno Karabakh in which Turkey was involved - so I expect them to keep the mission-related announcements relatively low-profile.

Does this mean there might be NO webcast at all?

Falcon 9 is already vertical, it only remains for SpaceX to announce something and publish the direct, if it is going to do so.

Thinking about this at first glance seems extreme, but now that I think about it, maybe. We are 12 hours from launch and no announcement or webcast page, or mission page on their site yet......

If no webcast, that would be notable. First time SpaceX hasn't done a webcast since they threatened to stop doing webcasts altogether in June 2014.

From SpaceX
Quote
SpaceX is targeting Thursday, January 7 for launch of the Turksat 5A mission from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The four-hour launch window opens at 8:28 p.m. EST, or 01:28 UTC on January 8, and a back-up opportunity is available on Friday, January 8, with a four-hour launch window opening at 8:28 p.m. EST, or 01:28 UTC on January 9.

Falcon 9’s first stage booster previously supported launch of GPS III Space Vehicle 03 and two Starlink missions. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s fairing is also flight-proven: one half previously supported the GPS III Space Vehicle 03 mission and the other flew aboard the ANASIS-II mission.
