Stage 1 entry burn has started. This 1-3-1 engine burn will ensure that Core B1043 will not disintegrate.

Continuing to get good video from the onboard camera mounted on the interstage.

Stage 1 entry burn has ended. We might lose video from the rocketcam for only a few seconds.

Stage 1 is transonic, passing under 340.29 meters per second.

The booster's AFTS was also safed.

Core B1043 has landed successfully! Will this booster be reused for a future mission? Possibly; could be expended or recovered when the time comes.

Webcast now coming to a close. On a typical LEO mission, SECO-1 occurs around the 9-minute mark, but we'll have to wait until a confirmation of mission success is tweeted to us.

Have a good night, guys.

Outstanding alignment of the legs versus the hash marks in the landing circle.

Long exposure from Port Canaveral

Offline Chris Bergin

Reminder we're holding this as update only until SpaceX confirms a good mission. Moved a few posts to Discussion. Leaving Bovane's in here as Steven, Zach, Chris G and the gang deserve the praise.

Confirmation will come via SpaceX or Elon, likely on Twitter.

PS That's an epic long exposure. Using that, Mike! (will tweet/accredit and link up your site :))
