Earlier Jeff called to Huston and invited them on board via KU. I haven't seen any images inside the lab as yet.

That was nicely symbolic: NBC "can't" interview the crew; meanwhile, "serious" celebrity gossip about the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son goes on in the background. Nicely underscores where the ratings are.

Slightly OT - Forecasters report high chances of crosswinds and thunderstorms at the SLF landing day with improving weather the next day. Radiator and arrays look great! Mostly just transfers today I see! Anyone have info on what's being transferred between the two craft?

Where did you get this from? The latest weekly forecast from the 45th Weather Squardon at CCAFS only has a 30% chance for T-storms for Wednesday morning(which is when landing is scheduled, 5:57 am EDT).

SFN. 30% huh? Not as bad as they made it sound. Good to know though. But the outlook does improve Thursday. Atlantis has enough supplies to stay in orbit for an additional three days if necessary. Will they do it the same way as the last two where they activate Edwards only after the first attempt falls through?

I believe the have enough consumables to last through at least one or two extra days if KSC isn't available right away.

If it's slow, let me throw this in -- the discussion on another loop about Vinogradov's comment monday (about 1:30 pm EDT) about an 'unknown object' has snowballed. Does anybody have a sound capture of that particular sequence where we can listen to the actual Russian and then the interpreter's quick translation? No hurry -- but the 'mystery comment' is catching fire in all the usual suspect internet sites.

I wonder if the "unknown object" Vinogradov was talking about was one of the lost bolts? Have the lost items from the spacewalks been tracked now?
