I'm missing a connection here - I can't see on that web page where it says that these cubesats will be launched on the *next* flight of Electron. How do we know that there won't be other Electron flights between now and these cubesats?

ELaNa XIX is not the second Electron flight.

Thanks for the observations I have updated the title accordingly, it's strange to find details on the third launch before the second, has anyone been able to find any details on that?

ELaNa XIX is also not the third launch. It will happen after the three planned Electron test flights.

Thanks for the information, I've updated the post again. Do you have a source for when the test flights will be and what will be on them?
Spaceflightnow has stated:
Several commercial CubeSats are expected to be aboard the Electron’s second mission.

https://spaceflightnow.com/launch-schedule/But I can't seem to find any information about the upcoming launch other than the ELaNa XIX mission and the quote from the CEO of Rocket Lab, Peter Beck.

In
this Bloomberg article from June 29th, Beck says the test launches will occur 'starting in the next six weeks'. That would put the next launch in mid-August.

Thanks, nice find! If the launches are spaced at around 6 weeks that would put the third test launch around the end of September and the ELaNa mission as the fourth launch mid November. The November date seems to line up with what the NASA website date.

NET means No Earlier Than. I wouldn't fixate too much on that November date, especially before Electron even makes it to orbit. Also when you create a thread for a particular mission on a launch vehicle (such as ELaNa XIX) then you should put the mission in the thread title.

It appears I was mistaken in assuming this would be the next launch, modifying the title accordingly.
From the Peter Beck interview:
We’ve officially accelerated into full commercial operations, so we’re trying to manifest flight three in a really short time frame. And then flight four is a NASA flight, a NASA VCLS flight
Confirms that the NASA launch will be the fourth Rocket launch.
Also the NOTAM has been extended to the 25th of April.

TOMSat, a pair of 3U CubeSats
FCC ELS File Number 0245-EX-CN-2016
Identification of the anticipated launch vehicle and launch site: AC11/TOMSat 3U pair are
manifested as part of NASA’s Educational Launch of Nanosatellites (ELaNa) XIX program. The
ELaNa XIX satellites will launch on a Rocket Lab Electron rocket from its launch site on the
Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand. Each of the two AC11/TOMSats will be deployed from a LV
provided spacecraft dispenser integrated with the Electron rocket. The Electron rocket will
deploy the satellites into a 500 km altitude circular orbit with an inclination of 85°.

ELaNa XIX ODAR (as of April 3, 2018)
The ELaNa-19 mission will be launched as the primary payload on the VCLS
RocketLabs ELaNa-19 mission on an US made Electron launch vehicle from New
Zealand range. The ELaNa-19 compliment, will deploy 14 pico-satellites (or CubeSats).
The CubeSat slotted position is identified in Table 2: ELaNa-19 CubeSats. The ELaNa19
manifest includes: ANDESITE, CeREs, CHOMPTT , CubeSail, DaVinci, ISX,
NMTSat, RSat, Shields-1, STF-1, TOMSat EAGLESCOUT, TOMSat R3, SHFT-1, and
ALBUS. The current launch date opens May 30, 2018 extending till June 7, 2018. The 14
CubeSats are to be ejected from the Electron shortly after the launch, placing the
CubeSats in an orbit approximately 500 X 500 km at inclination of 85 deg (ref. (i)).

Also there's a short video of the test, which I have no idea how to attach, but its at the link. Looks like RocketLab might be starting to get a roll on.

I'll call it a roll when they do two launches within 60days without a technical hitch.

Got ya covered. Twitter doesn't make it easy, though it's not as hard as it could be.
