I built a model of Apollo 4 from a re-issued Revell kit.  I replaced the SLA and CSM with one from a Airfix kit.  And then scratch built a LM simulator.  It fits on my launch pad very well.

"Farewell, Aquarius, and we thank you."
I built my tribute model for Apollo 13.  It show the jettison of Aquarius from Odyssey.  The white square in the frame is a bit of beta cloth netting taken from Aquarius by Astronaut Haise.

Man, I envy your ability to crank out kits. I can't finish a dang thing!

Great work.

Glad to see you are still cranking them out.  You must be in need of spare parts?!

I have a big plastic tub of shuttle parts and Saturn parts.  Plus a bunch of unbuilt kits to do someday. Like during quarantine!

I got some ISS parts from Mike Robel a few years ago to do this version of the station during Exp. 1.  I finally built it. Assembly was almost as slow as the real thing!

Very impressive, Ron,

how did you stabilize the huge collectors so that they don't sag?

Nice work as always Ron.  At least some of my pieces are being used for something.  Most still sit in the box.  But think of the potential there is while they rest...

Did you ever build your Lunar Gateway?

These are pretty well designed.  The panels are paper and very light weight. The truss is solid and slides into the arrays with a connection that rotates but doesn't flex up and down.

I built a 1/144 scale Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon.  I used the same 3D printed parts that Hobbes made and a spacecraft I also found on Shapeways. I printed some of the decals but most were spares from my decals supply.

Here are my models of all the vehicles the US Astronauts have flown that I have built. I have a Starliner that I will add when they get ready to fly. In back: Apollo 7 Saturn 1B, Apollo 8 Saturn V, STS-1 Space Shuttle Columbia, Soyuz, DM-2. In Front: Mercury Redstone MR-3, Mercury Atlas MA-6, Gemini Titan GT-3, Spaceship Two VSS Enterprise and X-15.

Hi Ron,

the long Falcon 9 asparagus must not be missing in your collection, of course, very impressive!

Sadly, no.  My disenchantment with the slowness of our space program and the lack of any significant direction manifested itself with an extreme fall off in (all of) my modeling interest(s) and a return to wargaming.  The launch of the Falcon 9/Dragon was less than I hoped for although I was glad that it worked well.  Perhaps if SLS ever gets off the pad, my interest may be rekindled.

I recently built the Realspace Models' new Lunar Orbiter kit in 1/24 scale. A fantastic kit, with 3D printed, resin and brass parts. It was great fun and I am very happy with it.

When I built my recent LUT models last year, I had a lot of trusses left over from the kits. And a shuttle.  So I decided to make a representation of the SSME test vehicle, MPTA-098. The stand is a simple representation of the test stand. It isn't exact, but it was a fun little build.
