Forbes: Price discount?
Musk: Trying to figure that out. It will be a meaningful reduction. Will first have to payoff price of reusability development. Will be less than current price of our rockets and far lower than any other rocket in the world.

Question from France: How many times can stages be reused?
Musk: Design intent is that rocket can be reflown with ZERO hybrid changes 10 times. Then with moderate refurb, 100 times. We can make it 1,000, but there's no point in that. ITS will be 1,000 reflights.

Musk: New design coming for Grid Fin. Will be largest titanium forging in the world. Current Grid Fin is aluminum and gets so hot it lights on fire... which isn't good for reuse.

Brendan Bryne (NPR): Anything you're worried about?
Musk: Looked a telemtry up and down. It all looks really good. Eyeballing it, other things to address to replace TPS on grid fins and base heat shield and repaint where needed.

Martin talking about how this wasn't a risk. Tech had worked through this. People apply emotion to situation and equating that to risk.

Do you feel vindicated at this date.
Musk: Yeah, I was speechless when it happened. It's a great day.

Quite a lot of history from 39A.
Musk: Yeah, like Times Square. When NASA let us lease their pad, it was an incredible honor. Coolest launch location I can think of. This wasn't part of plan to lease 39A. This came up, and we were like "hell yeah."

How can today open new doors to space?
Reduction in cost of access. Looking to next gen vehicle, the big rocket -- with code name BRF, Big... Falcon... Rocket -- that will be taking all of what we've learnt and creating something completely reusable.
100 fold reduction to cost... maybe more...
