He has been talking to the POTUS lately and there are those rumors of Lunar flights.Edit: Can FH reuse all 3 cores if it throws a Dragon 2 around the moon?It was borderline on whether the center core could be caught downrange for Red Dragon's TMI. I would think a lunar free return TLI would be more likely to be recoverable.

Holy s***. SpaceX says its going to send two people around the Moon in the 4th Q of 2018.
Two people would fly an approximately week-long mission in a “long loop” around the Moon, to about 400,000 miles from Earth.
If this happens in late 2018 or 2019, SpaceX would almost certainly one-up NASA's crewed Orion/SLS mission.
Elon Musk would not say who the people were, or how much they paid. Nor even give their gender. But no real astronauts will fly with them.
NPR @NPRSpaceX founder Elon Musk says the mission will take approximately a week, and there will be no landing on the surface. It wouldn't surprise if one of them isn't James Cameron.
