Yeah, you can bet the FAA are watching this Static Fire like hawks. A bit strange as I was told the FAA has no say in mission success.

"Chris! Not an update on the update only thread!" I hear you cry.

Sure, but the relevance is the Static Fire. They've been a bit delayed by usual - non rocket - things (Static Fires always have long windows anyway), but we'll know they are close when they start prop loading. That's the update.

Not going forward with the Static Fire today. Moving to Wednesday.

Should add, only a minor issue, not with the rocket - but needs to be fixed when the rocket's not vertical. Launch date not impacted by this.

F9 is vertical and going for an attempt today.

Will update again if we hear of a firing. HOWEVER, as per usual, only SpaceX (or Iridium as the customer) can declare a good static fire, usually via Twitter. Then it'll be data review and LRR.

Unconfirmed (because SpaceX are the ones to confirm) that Falcon 9 has come to life at Vandenberg! Wait for SpaceX to confirm, very important, not least how the Static Fire test data looks.
