SpaceX Falcon 9 B1071 launches the Surface Water Ocean Topography satellite into orbit from SLC-4 at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California this morning. @NASASpaceflight
Falcon 9 liftoff, reentry burn and landing burn at Vandenberg SFB after delivering NASA’s #SWOT satellite to orbit. Beautiful launch!📷 for @SuperclusterHQ
F9/SWOT: LIFTOFF! At 6:46:47am EST (1146 UTC)
Separation confirmed! ✅By completing separation, the @SpaceX rocket has demonstrated its ability to withstand the extreme conditions of launch. Our next big milestone will be to hear from the SWOT satellite. #TrackingWorldWater

Falcon 9 returns to Landing Zone 4 after launching the SWOT mission. @NASASpaceflight
Did they tell us during the streaming if fairings were reused?

Would have been framed perfectly if Falcon 9 landed in the center of the landing zone. smh. 🤪(view from the opposite side post-landing)
I watched most of this morning's Falcon 9 launch and landing with my own eyes while my camera autonomously tracked the rocket! This was the most successful Autotrack run yet. Some highlights:
