Project Swanson, Titusville
« on: 09/21/2016 03:22 pm »
Story about a small solid motor propellant company wanting to set up shop at TICO, Titusville, FL.  The "mysterious" deal is named "Project Swanson".  I can think of only a few non-US makers of solid motor propellant.

NAMMO is one guess.  They've done missile motors for AMRAAM, Sparrow, and the like, as well as Ariane 5 booster separation motors.  Norwegian/Finnish company.  https://www.nammo.com/

RAFAEL is another guess.  Makes the AUS-51 Shavit third stage motor for Ofeq satellite launches.

Some other articles refference a Canadian company. I think it might be Cesaroni Technologies opening a US Branch.

See http://floridapolitics.com/archives/tag/project-swanson for the Canadian reference. Really narrows the field down.
