Poor Atlantis is now the butt of NASA e-mailed jokes.

"Have you heard Atlantis' nick name?
She is called the Penguin: she is a bird that is black and white and never flys!"

That one is very old...German TV used the same joke when STS-55 (D2 Mission) did not get of the pad....

So (no guesses from the uninformed please) how long should it take to get things hooked back up and restart the count after she's back on the pad (assume that's by 7-9pm ish?)

My guess are that they'll have everything plugged in by early Wednesday(EDT). The latest estimate is that it will take 5 hours to return Atlantis to 39B. That puts arrival time around 9 pm EDT.

Good call. This is going to be little more than an extended gusty thunderstorm for KSC.

So if she's plugged in tomorrow morning, what would the earliest launch timeframe be from there?
"I think with a bid of luck they can launch next Tuesday, maybee monday"
What could they do to get it sped up to Monday? Are you confirming the Wed morning hookup complete?
