A big chunk of "ice" coming off the engine.
End of SpaceX webcast.
Congratulations to SpaceX and JCSat for the successful launch and to SpaceX for their first successful "hot" landing!

Gotta say my congrats. I'll admit I thought the first stage was a gonner when the smoke billowed out from the distant shot. Thought it was the standard crash fireball. Then from the droneship view; BAM - ROCKET!
Way to go SpaceX!

More appropriate for congratulations here in the thread so moved comment.
Now that is impressive getting a stage back off this kind of launch, so congratulations to Space X on that and for successful S/C deployment.

Congratulations to everyone at SpaceX - a nominal "boring" completely-on-time launch with no drama. Also great to see ya got that "sporty" 3-engine landing burn working out just fine. Onwards!

Congratulations SpaceX, Elon, and everyone who makes these launches happen! Nearly 22,000 mph at SECO 2 -- that's what it takes to go 2.3 Zillion KM. :-)
I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but weather aside, this is another one that went up without a hitch. Looks like the superchilled LOX demons have been tamed!

Congratulations. Recovering stage on this type of mission should scare the living daylights out of competitors.
