Well done to the Progress-MS 2 controllers.   As usual, the docking is on time without the hype and overblown publicity you get elsewhere.

A gentleman to explain what is all the telemtry we can see on the onboard Progress camera ?

At the bottom left is range (rho in km) and range rate (rho dot in m/s or m/c in Russian). omega x, y and z at the top right are angle rates (degrees per second), possibly between ISS and Progress. Then we have three angles, and then two angles (psi~ and g~). Not sure what they measure, but probably the angles between ISS and Progress. The bottom right values are Omega y and z. I don't know what these are, but Omega might mean some difference value. At very top right is Time (hours:minutes:seconds).

Why is it that Russian cargo freighter threads like this are bumped back to the Russian section after docking has been completed, while the threads of US Cygnus cargo freighters remain in the "live" section?

Why is it that Russian cargo freighter threads like this are bumped back to the Russian section after docking has been completed, while the threads of US Cygnus cargo freighters remain in the "live" section?

Maybe because:
1. Progress ships are parked for a far longer time than the other logistics ships
2. more "stuff" happens with the flights of the other ships while everyone expect the Progress to work
3. people don't note them much given the quarterly flight frequency?

As someone who have been fighting against Progress discrimination here, maybe I can ask around for other opinions.....

I would like to see all the ISS cargo missions by any type of freighter be at least cross-referenced in the ISS section itself. Even after a few years on this site, and with my poor computer-skills to boot ::), I find the endless number of threads to be overwhelming. Over at the space-policy section the comments seem to all spill over thread-lines no matter what the nominal topic; I'm never sure where to post my humble opinions because they don't always seem to fit the exact parameters of the subject-lucky for their readers!
I want more coverage in general about the international activities on ISS, what the partners are up to...we get daily updates, which are great BTW, on the US segments but very little about what's going on in the Russian segment, unless I just don't know where to look! Thanks! Free Progress!

It is not only Progress.
We see very little about the Russian activities onboard ISS. Photos of Russian cosmonauts are very rare. Sometimes it looks that there are only US astronauts onboard. I know for sure that are a lot of photos with cosmonauts (alone) or together with astronauts exist. NASA should publish them too.
Back to Progress: About every Dragon and Cygnus craft we see pictures of the docking. About Progress MS-02 docking I've seen none.

Quarterly Progress dockings? I think I read somewhere that Roscosmos is reducing them to 3 per year due to financial reasons. Have they reversed their decision, or did I read wrong?

From 4 down to 3?  That's a quarter reduction :-)

This looks more like 3.5 flights a year.
