Would be cool to see a video pr release showing all the attempts (particularly the last one - if it was spectacular), finally followed by the success.

Congratulations, SpaceX!

Holy wow, amazing!

Huge congratulations to the entire SpaceX team, and to Elon, Ms. Shotwell and the executive team for not throwing in the towel after a couple of failures, and letting the engineers keep trying to get it right. Well done.

For the record, I've now determined that my car audio system can, indeed, play the audio from my iPhone while I'm streaming the live webcast in mobile Safari, allowing me to listen to live coverage during my commute home. The cheering of the SpaceX team was awesome through the Bose. :D

Absolutely phenomenal!  I can't wait to see how far SpaceX can go, but I am certain that this success, monumental though it may be, is only the beginning of what these brilliant people, and the humans they represent, can do.
All aboard the HSF hype train!  Choo Choo!

Congrats spaceX!  Historic.  I am greatly optimistic for the next few years and decades of spaceflight.

Absolutely fantastic!!

Work got in the way of watching live, but it was fantastic to be able to pop in, get the news of the landing, and then find the replays to watch.  It was a thing of beauty - congrats to SpaceX and all involved!

Wow, I've watched everything from Mercury until now.
I watched the first moon landing in black and white and WOW, blown away.
I was even on emergency recovery of one of the Apollo Missions.

But this, is totally EPIC.
Not only for epic achievement in rocketry, or for the business of reducing the cost of boosting satellites into orbit, and all that follows,
but especially, for all of those media and rocket business leaders who laughed at spaceX for crashing a rocket onto a rockin' and rollin' barge in the middle of the ocean.

Well, they did it.  Those that laughed at their attempts, now they must face up to the new reality.

On to the next step, reuseability (a tough nut to crack to be sure).

A shot of JD, looking at the sky, for their achievement.

Congratulations to SpaceX! Flawless launch flow (despite bumpy testing). Successful flight of the 3rd generation Falcon 9. Return to flight for Dragon. Successful first ever propulsive landing on a ship. Incredible achievements.

Very soon the landing will just be a second objective and no longer "experimental". This was a VERY successful experiment.

That was a swell landing... pun intended.

Up and back down on pillars of fire,
All to enable us to reach higher.

And carrying another bit of payload to herald the future.

Wow. Let's keep at it

I hope they bring it in during daylight hours. I'd imagine there will be a crowd...

Congrats to Spacex!!  Not only was the launch beautiful, but the camera work was amazing throughout.   Someone needs to win an Oscar for that slow fly around after the landing!
